Sunray’s DC Range of submersible solar pumps are made of corrosion and abrasion resistant stainless steel and have been developed in accordance with state of the art technology. The range includes 3″, 4″ and 6″ pumps.
Each pump is pre-paired with a DC motor and each unit comes standard with the following:

Overview
Solar photo-voltaic panels convert sunlight to electrical energy which is passed to the solar pump controller. The solar controller stabilizes the voltage to drive the motor of the pump. If backup batteries (optional) are available the pump controller can charge them. The stored energy can be used at a later date when the sunlight may not be adequate to drive the pump. Water level sensors are also connected to the controller and can be used to protect the pump from running dry as well as automatically turn the pump off when a water tank is full. The system operates completely independent of any utility or generator power and is ideal for rural applications.

4SP(S) Universal AC/DC Solar Submersible Pumps are fitted with a permanent magnet, brush-less motor, which enables the efficient use of energy from a wide range of supply options. The pump system offers the perfect water supply solution in remote areas where water is scarce, and the power supply is non-existent or unreliable. The structure of motor with double shields poses no pollution risk to drinking water. The integrated control system is built inside the motor to make it more compatible and reliable, while offering the MPPT function-Maximum Power Point Tracking, maximizing the utilization of power generated from the photovoltaic generator.
